Response to COVID-19

Effective March 20th, 2020 - April 20th, 2020 (extension will be executed if necessary)

We would like to thank our customers locally and across the United States for their patience as we drafted a course of action in response to this virus. After closely monitoring the reports from the CDC, the health department locally and in the various areas we service regularly; the following will be implemented effective March 20th, 2020 – April 20th, 2020!


1. KM Event Kits – Kits feature all the custom items/decor you need in an order/shipment to host and set up your own event. Kits are now available to order through our business Facebook, online website www.kmdesignseventsnmore.com, Instagram; as well as call in and email orders during our normal business hours. Kits are available in various sizes and are shippable across the US. With the health and safety of our staff and customers as our number one priority ALL KITS WILL BE SHIPPED; shipping cost will apply!


2. Orders (Locally & across the US) – KM Designs Events & More will operate at normal capacity for orders of custom design items/décor. We will accept orders through our business Facebook, online website www.kmdesignseventsnmore.com, Instagram; as well as call in and email orders during our normal business hours. With the health and safety of our staff and customers as our number one priority ALL ORDERS WILL BE SHIPPED; shipping cost will apply.

When placing orders for any of our products shipping timeframes may fluctuate ; we encourage all of our customers to be mindful of the uncertainty this virus causes and to plan ahead when ordering to ensure all items arrive by the desired date provided at the time of order. To limit our staff’s exposure, we will only ship on Tuesdays & Thursdays (weekly). All orders will now have a 2-3-week turnaround time regardless of the size. KM Designs Events & More remains released from liability once all orders/kits are in the carrier’s possession; we will not be held responsible nor will we provide any refunds for mistakes made within your delivery with the carrier including delays!


3.  Previously Scheduled Events – KM Designs Events & More WILL NOT issue any refunds for events forced to cancel due to the virus. We will transfer all amounts paid to a new date of your choosing after the virus subsides. Please refer to the next section for the requirements of home-based events


4. Home Based Events – KM Designs Events & More will accept bookings for full décor set ups at a customer’s residence or office; where NONE of the occupants have experienced symptoms or tested positive for the virus. To comply with CDC guidelines we require customers to provide adequate time for our staff to set up & tear down without any exposure to your guests; if we come in contact with any of your guests we will stop set up immediately and exit the premises (NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FOR FAILURE TO COMPLY). Please be mindful of the CDC guest count regulations when hosting events; we will not be held responsible for any repercussions for failure to comply. Bookings made with knowledge of an occupant’s symptoms or exposure and failure to disclose will result in further legal action!
